Komoro, Shinshu, is the castle town of Komoro Castle (now Kaiko-en) and an inn town on the Hokkoku Kaido Road leading to Zenkoji Temple, and retains the atmosphere of an old town. Nakadanasou is a hot spring hotel established in 1898 and located in Komoro. Nakatana-so stands quietly in the forest leading from Komoro Castle (now Kaiko-en) to the Chikuma River. The property has four wooden buildings: the Heiseikan and Taishokan (lodging buildings), the Harikoshi-tei restaurant (registered tangible cultural property), and the storehouse gallery, all surrounded by a garden and trees where you can feel the changing seasons.

Wedding ceremonies can be held at Nakadanasou Villa Harikoshi-tei in a traditional Japanese "Shugen" ceremony. We will create a special day to touch the hearts of your relatives and loved ones. We also offer wedding ceremonies in front of a Shinto shrine, ceremonial betrothal, and family reunions.
In the space of a registered tangible cultural property, an old private house built in the late Edo period using large timbers such as zelkova from the Kaiko-en garden, the restaurant offers a lunch menu of soba a la carte and small kaiseki meals, centering on soba kaiseki, in which you can fully enjoy soba and the seasonal blessings of the mountains and fields.
