Nakadana Onsen Nakadana-so, where Toson Shimazaki, a great writer of the Meiji era, was healed, will hold the "First Love Postcard Award" project, in which visitors will write about their first love, a tender event that anyone can feel, on a postcard.
October 30, "First Love Day," is a memorial day established by the Japan Anniversary Association for "Nakadanaso," an inn associated with Toson Shimazaki.
It was established on this day in 1896, when Shimazaki Toson published his poem "First Love" as part of "Kohigusa" in "Bungaku Kai" No. 46.
Toson spent seven years as a teacher at the "Komoro Gijuku" in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture, and it was an important period in his life when he made the decision to live as a writer. During his time in Komoro, he frequented Nakatana-so (then known as Nakatana Kosen), and the museum has cherished its connection with Toson Shimazaki to this day.

Please send your thoughts and feelings on postcards at different times and in different positions in life.
