Stargazing in Shinshu's Omakigahara

Nakadanasou", where Toson Shimazaki, a great writer of the Meiji era, was healed, will hold a limited time event "Star gazing".

The Omakigahara plateau has a clear weather rate, with a 360-degree mountain panorama and blue sky from Yatsugatake and Mt. Tateshina to Utsukushigahara in the south, Yarihotaka to Hakuba Sanzan in the Northern Alps like a white folding screen in the west, the Asama mountain range up close in the north, and Nishijoju and Okuchichibu in the east, and Mt.

Motoi Inoue, a stargazing instructor, will be invited to guide (explain) the stars.

Join us to learn about the origins of the constellations and the stories behind each one.

This time, not only guests staying at the hotel but also the general public could participate.

Charge

Adults (junior high school students and older) 3,000 yen (tax included), Children 1,500 yen (tax included) (preschoolers to elementary school students)

Free pickup and drop-off

*Customers with overnight stay included will pay together at the time of check-out.

*General attendees will be asked to pay in cash or by PayPay on the day of the event.

The tour may be cancelled due to weather conditions (weather conditions at 12:00 on the day of the tour will be used to determine the cancellation date).

During the winter months, temperatures can be low, ranging from below freezing to nearly 10°C (50°F). Please dress warmly and wear comfortable footwear as the tour will be outdoors.
