Nakadana Onsen Nakadana-so," where Toson Shimazaki, a great writer of the Meiji era, was healed, proposes to rediscover the charms of the region. By experiencing the local culture that has taken root in this area, new travel discoveries and connections can be made, allowing visitors to rediscover the charms of the region.

The "Geminids Meteor Shower Observation Event 2024" will be held again this year at Geo Hills Winery, which was spun off from Nakadanaso in 2018!

Omakigahara in Nagano Prefecture, where Geo Hills Winery is located, is a plateau 700 to 800 meters above sea level with an unobstructed 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding area.
The area has a high percentage of clear skies, making it ideal for stargazing, especially from fall through spring.
We have invited an expert stargazing instructor for this event, and you can learn about the constellations while enjoying a cup of hot wine or hot apple tea prepared for the event.

Enjoy observing the Geminids meteor shower once a year in the vast sky and quiet environment.

Jiwansha: Motoi Inoue

After working as a high school science teacher, backpacker, and nature guide in Karuizawa, he became independent. Started activities for children's generation. He is a farmer who grows vegetables without pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or plastic mulch, a nature guide, a bamboo forest restoration project, and a community activist. Born in Nara Prefecture.

Benefit 1: Explanation of the stars by a stargazing instructor

Motoi Inoue, a stargazing instructor, will be invited to guide (explain) the stars. Let's learn about the origins of the constellations and the stories behind them.

Benefit 2: Enjoy a hot beverage

The photo is an image only.

You can choose one from hot wine and hot apple juice. You can observe the constellations while warming up with a drink.

Fee: Adults (junior high school students and older) 3,000 yen (tax included) Preschoolers and elementary school students 1,500 yen
